Kmoch Legal is led by attorney JUDr. Ondřej Kmoch, who has been practicing law for more than 20 years. He gained his experience at firms such as PRK Partners and MT Legal, where he focused for many years on contract law and IT/ICT law and led a team dedicated to major technology projects.

Kmoch Legal combines experience from complex projects with direct, personal collaboration and an understanding of the client’s business. In our legal work, we utilize modern technologies, including AI, where they enhance efficiency. However, technology does not replace experience, professional judgment, or a lawyer’s personal responsibility for the legal services provided.

For us, legal advice is not merely about drafting a document or answering a legal question. What matters is understanding the context, identifying the truly significant risks, and finding a solution that the client understands and can rely on. A long-term relationship and mutual trust are therefore integral to good legal service.

Contracts and Business Relationships. We draft, review, and negotiate contracts and help companies structure their business relationships to meet their actual needs and adequately protect their interests.

IT, Software, and AI. We assist with IT contracts, software implementations, cloud services, licenses, copyrights, data protection, and cybersecurity. For companies using AI, we help structure its use so that the technology delivers real benefits while keeping legal risks, liability, data handling, and rights to outputs under control.

Day-to-day business operations. Depending on the client’s needs, we also provide legal support in corporate, employment, real estate, and other matters related to their business.

We do not view legal issues in isolation. We help distinguish which risks are truly significant, which are commercially acceptable, and which solution makes sense in a given situation.

When it comes to legal services, it’s important to know in advance not only what issues we’ll be addressing, but also—if possible—how much the solution will cost.

If the scope of work can be reasonably predicted, we agree on a fixed price or a price cap (CAP) in advance. For ongoing legal support for businesses, we also offer a monthly flat fee.

If the scope of the assignment cannot be reliably determined in advance, we charge an hourly rate and clarify the billing method with the client before beginning work.
